Chris Davey, our manager, has entered the Great North Swim in aid of Cancer Research. It's taking place on the 19th September 2009 at 2.30pm in Lake Windermere.

If you're brave enough to join him, you can sign up through the Great North Swim Website. You may need a wetsuit!!

Save waterpolo for 2012 and beyond

As you know we currently have two GB players in our team and a number of players, present and past, that have represented Great Britain at international level. British waterpolo is now facing a funding crisis to be able to prepare our GB squads for the 2012 Olympics and beyond. Each week at water polo clubs across the country hundreds of new and existing players take part in mini-polo, junior leagues and other training sessions. Some of these athletes will be GB players of the future.

To help these up and coming stars and for existing GB squads to successfully represent British waterpolo at the 2012 Olympics 'Friends of Water Polo' needs your support.

Play Offs

Solihull have decided not to challenge us for a place in the 1st Division. Harrogate stay in Division 1 and the new league season starts in September 2009. Dates and venues will be confirmed later in the year.
